Irelevant ramblings

So just seen Florence's performance on the Brit Awards, which was to Florence's usual amazing standards. Apart from appreciate the performance, became very inspired by the dancers outfits as they reminded me of a project I did a few years back based on ancient Roman costume.
For those of you haven't seen the performance yet, i will post up the link as soon as its available -
The dancers costumes, from what I can see are based on the Ancient Roman 'peplos' gown.

Which has inspired me to make some sort of dress maybe based on this.
Like mentioned above, it also reminded me of a previous project i did a good few years ago, which are below. Obviously not exact to the peplos, but i remember using it to inspire me with the below garments. (ignore the construction of these garments, it is horrendous and i should have been burned at the stake for them! ha! I was 15 though, so have mercy....)
